Worship

All faith traditions have a worship component to their belief system. Some may come together once or twice a year while others gather for worship several times a day. The worship itself may be very structured or free form but whatever form it takes it helps the worshipers relate to a force outside themselves.

I’m most comfortable in a structured form of worship. The call to worship from the pealing of bells in the bell tower, the light infused as it passes through the stained glass, the music from the organ, choir, and congregation, and the words of the vestment clad minister. Whither the worship occurs in a towering cathedral or a small country church where the only accompaniment is a single guitar, I am drawn into community. This community is not bound by language, distance, or even time.

In a world searching for meaning I hope you find worship that speaks to your need and draws you into community.

Worship is best experienced as part of a community but there are reasons we cannot always attend. Regularly I post music and readings from one faith tradition in hope it meets your need until you are able to rejoin your community.
